Frequently Asked Questions

If you have other questions, please email us at [email protected].
Thank you!

Membership & Registration

Can I use my key fob from last year?
Yes. Once you complete your registration, your passes will automatically be reactivated.

What if I lost my key fob?
A replacement can be made for you during your first visit to the pool.

Do I have to register online?
Online registration is the fastest option. However, staff can assist you at the office during regular hours. The office is located at the breezeway entrance of the pool.

What if I forgot my login or password?
Click “Forgot My Password” on CivicRec and follow the emailed instructions. You may also visit the office for assistance.

Do I need a photo on my account?
Yes. Each person on a membership must have a photo on their account. If you had a photo uploaded last year, it will automatically carry over to this season.

Can non-residents join the pool?

A limited number of non-resident memberships are available. A current Ramsey pool member must serve as your sponsor/reference.

Guests (Members) & Day Passes (Non-Members)

Is there a limit to the number of guests I can bring to the pool?
There is no seasonal limit on guests. However, daily guest entry is subject to manager discretion based on pool capacity.  If you plan to bring more than 10 guests on a given day, we recommend completing a reservation form in advance to help ensure entry.

Please note that members are responsible for their guests at all times. Guest privileges may be revoked — and memberships may be suspended — if guests do not follow pool rules or behave appropriately.

Can Ramsey residents who are not members use the pool?
Yes. Resident day passes are available under the following conditions:
  • $25 per pass
  • Valid ID required (must have Ramsey address)
  • Waiver must be signed (digital through Civic Rec)
  • Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult
  • No additional guests permitted
  • Non-Ramsey residents are not eligible
  • Limit of 3 trips per resident per summer
  • Not valid on Sundays or holidays
  • Daily availability subject to manager discretion

Slides & Diving Board Rules

Who can use the slides and diving boards?
  • To use the diving boards and slides, swimmers must be able to swim on their own without assistance. For safety reasons, weaker swimmers are not permitted in these areas.  Lessons can help build confidence and develop the skills needed to swim safely and independently in the deeper parts of the pool.
  • Puddle jumpers and approved flotation devices are allowed on diving boards and small slides.
  • Swimmers must be able to swim independently, without assistance, to use the large slides. Flotation devices are not permitted.
Can I catch my child on the slides or diving boards?
  • You may catch your child at the diving board after notifying and receiving approval from the lifeguard. Please note that if there is a long line, this may not be permitted.
  • You may assist a swimmer from the small slide; however, they must exit the pool using the nearest ladder.
  • Catching a child from the large slides is not permitted.
