Frequently Asked Questions

If your question or answer is not listed below please email the Director at ramseymunicipalpool@gmail.com.
Thank you!

1. How will the rules/polices change due to Covid-19 regulations?
  • We will do our best to operate normally, however, we will abide by any recommendations from the Board of Health.
2. Can I use my key fob/pass from the previous year?
  • Yes, as soon as you register your pass will be active again.
3. What do I do if I lost my key fob from last year?
  • We can make a new one for you at the pool when you come in during your first visit.
4. Do I have to register online?
  • No, we can help you register at the pool during the hours we are open (but it will save time if you do it at home).
5. What if I forgot my login or password?
  • You can search your email for your login information or you can reset your password and you will be automatically emailed a new one.
6. Can I use the pool if I am a Ramsey resident but not a pool member?
  • You can pay the daily guest fee to use the pool, but must show proof of residence.
7. Where can I find information about group swim lessons?
 8. What if I want a private swim lesson?
  • The cost is $20 per half hour and you can email the Director and he can put you in touch with one of the instructors.  These lessons are typically done early in the day (before we are open to the public) to ensure focus of your child and gives us the leisure to use any part of the pool to practice in.  These lessons are planned based around your schedule and the instructor’s schedule.
9. Can I have a party at the pool?
  • Yes, people have parties all the time.  If it is a small party (less than 10), you do not need to make any reservation, and simply pay the guest fees upon arrival.  If you require tables and space from  the pavilion please fill out the form here: http://www.ramseymunicipalpool.com/groups--parties.html
10. Can I join the pool if I do not live in Ramsey?
  • Yes you can, however, you need to be sponsored by a Ramsey resident pool member.
11.  Is there a schedule I can look at to see what goes on at the pool?
12. How do I know if the pool closes due to unsafe weather conditions?
  • The pool will stay open unless we have thunder/lightning in the forecast.  You can check the Facebook page for updates and we will always send an email out if we close for the day.
13.  How can I purchase the discounted “10-Pack” guest passes?
  • You can only purchase these at the pool office.
14. Can I order takeout to the pool or do I have to eat from the snack stand?
  • You can bring your own food, order pizza/takeout, grill, or order from the snack stand.
15. Are there ever extended hours at the pool?
  • Every Friday in July, the pool will remain open until 10p.  There will also be special activities during the day, and a live band playing.  Check the activities calendar for more details.
